McHi Band advances to UIL Area Marching Contest
The McAllen High School band earned a Division I rating from all 3 judges at the 2023 Pigskin Marching Contest held at PSJA Stadium on October 14, 2023.
This year's marching show repertoire consisted of 3 movements titled, "Chronometry: Grandfather Clock, Hourglass and Stopwatch."
"We are very proud of their efforts and achievements they earned this competitive season, " stated head band director, Mr. Noel De La Cruz. "The students have been working really hard since July."
The band will perform Saturday, October 28 at 3:45 p.m. at the La Joya ISD stadium.
McHi Band is under the direction of Head Director, Mr. Noel De La Cruz. Assistant Directors are George Sanchez, Christoper Cruz, Sarah Canning, Victor Casas and Jennifer Rodriguez.
