NEW: How to Fix WiFi Problems at McHi (Chromebooks)

When students are having issues logging into the WiFi, please try these tips before they visit the McHi Library for assistance:

  1. New as of 8/24/22: Do not use the WiFi called "MISD OnBoard." Problems have surfaced with this particular WiFi.

  2. You will need to choose the McAllen_ISD-WiFi 

  3. Fill out the WiFi settings as shown in the image below.

  4. Be sure to use the complete e-mail address for the username and the current McAllen ISD password.

  5. If you still cannot get a connection, please change the student's password, wait 5 minutes, and then try the steps listed above again.

  6. If still nothing, the student will need to visit the library for assistance.
